Get the plugins!

 '

Step-by-Step to download the plug-ins:

You might want to print out this page...

Please note: This page is for Pro Tools plugins. For VST plugins go HERE. These Pro Tools products require an iLok, and authorization is provided via iLok.com. Please be sure to read the PRODUCT PAGES before downloading or purchasing. Please be sure to try a demo before purchasing.

If you are demoing the product and have not yet applied for a demo iLok asset, please go here first. If you've had problems with that process, golly gee, don't fret! Just download the correct plugin here. After you download, send an email to sales@princetondigital.com to request a demo authorization, and be sure to include your iLok id. Please allow some time for us to reply! Especially on weekends...

IMPORTANT! Note that you can demo each product only one time. We cannot reauthorize a demo on the same computer. All the different downloads for the same product use the same authorization, so you can't just download a different version (sorry...)

  1. Click the correct link for the product you wish to download: Note that Plate Reverb is part of Reverb2016, so you don't need both unless you're specifically demoing or purchasing Plate Reverb on its own.

  2. Mac, continued:
    • During download, you may see a warning dialog box warning you that the download contains an application. Select the Continue option.
    • The installer should open automatically. If the installer opens as a folder view, click in the Finder's view menu and change the view to ICONS; or just click on Readme if you wish, then click on Install.
    • After the installation is complete there will be a "Princeton Digital" folder on your desktop with a user's manual and copies of the various presets included with the plugins in case you ever need to reinstall them.
    • If you have any problems, skip down to the Mac Install Issues section below.
    • Please recall that this product is only for Pro Tools HD systems running under Mac OS X. If you are using OS 9 the installer will not even operate.
  3. PC, continued:
    • During download, you may see a warning dialog box warning you that the download contains an application. Select the Continue option.
    • You will download a .zip file which will have to be unzipped, you can do this by right clicking on the file and choosing Extract from the menu.
    • Once this is done you can install the software by double clicking on the installer icon.
    • After the installation is complete there will be a "PrincetonDigital" folder in your Program group with a user's manual, readme, and a copy of the end user license.
  4. General:
    • If Pro Tools is already running then you'll need to restart it for the new plugins to appear in your plugin list.
    • Please note that Plate and Room reverbs are MONO input and will only appear in the "multi-mono TDM plug-in" section of the insert selector drop-down menu. Stereo Room and SST-282 appear in both the "multi-mono" and the "multi-channel" menus.
    • If you have any problems not addressed on this page, please send email to support@princetondigital.com.

Mac Install Issues
  • Some of the downloadable files are in .gz format; requiring an unzip phase. This should be performed automatically by your Mac. If not, you will need to unzip them manually. Only some plugins require an "unzip" phase, those for Pro Tools 7.0 and later do not, whereas those for versions of Pro Tools < 7.0 do need to be unzipped.
  • If the installer opens as a folder view, click in the Finder's view menu and change the view to ICONS; or just click on the Install title.
